Tournaments rage ahead
We've had two tournaments to date and
both have gone very well, Jefwfunk1 winning the first
and Mmccalpi the second, each taking home a trophy and
prizemoney. Everyone involved had a great time, some
saying the tournaments produce far more competitve and
tougher games.
So we're doing lots more of these in the
future.
Next tournament, First Bull Run, set
to go.
$100 to winner, $50 to 2nd place, $20 to 3rd.
And now we are ready for the
3rd Tower Games Tournament, with prize money running to
third place. Here's how it'll work;

The battle is First
Bull Run.

It will be a straight knock
out.

Games will start automatically.

The timer will be 2
days and games will end at the end of two weeks.
At that time, even if the game is not finished, a winner
will be declared depending on what the combined point
scores are at that time. This way the whole tournament
can move along nicely.

Prize money will be $100
to the winner, $50 to 2nd place and $20 to 3rd.

And we know we said our third tournament would be Bastogne.
However, several members said they didn't feel quite ready
for that battle, it being a new game and all, and wanted
some more time to get more experience. So our fourth tournament
might be Bastogne.
Tournament Games to start automatically.
That's correct. Now when you enter
a tournament the games for each round will now be started
for you. You will no longer have to propose a game and
wait for your opponent to join. Both games in each round
will start automatically and you will find them in your
list of current games in the Games Room. All you have
to do is click on the "open" button and put
in your orders. Yes, the appropriate
amount of tokens will be deducted from your account. And,
yes, it does mean you will have to get your orders in
on time from the very start.
So now finding your opponents and getting started is
now much more easy.
FREE tokens for all new (and old) members.
To celebrate the full
release of Bastogne we are announcing a new policy for new
members; the instant they create a new account they will
be given, FREE, 3 tokens worth $3. They can use these
any way they see fit, be it to try out the "pay"
games or to join the tournaments.
And to keep this fair and everyone happy, all our old customers
will find their account has been credited with 3 FREE tokens
as well.
