This is the name that you go by on the Tower Games website. If you are unsure about your Nickname, go back to Getting Started.

In order to have full access to all of the Tower Games, you need to (tokens).

Most of our games cost 1 Tower per game, so a Tower will usually give you 1 to 2 hours (estimated) playing time.
And all new members get 3 Towers free when they sign up.

When you go into the Games Room and propose a game, you will have the choice of whether to start a "Head to Head" game or a "Hot Seat" game.

A Head to Head game is where the people are online, in the games room. You propose, they all join, and the game starts. Simple.

A Hot Seat game is where other people are not online. You propose the game. You leave the Games Room but the proposal will still be there when others come along. They see the proposal and join it. When enough players have joined, the game starts. However, it doesn't start automatically, even for the last player to join. All players must access it through the "Rejoin Games" list.

And all players can keep contact with each other through the "Email Players" function (in the game chat window).

This makes it much easier for people to start and have a game when they want to, rather than trying to arrange a time when everyone will be online.

This is a very important feature of Tower Games as you will want to play with your friends. When you invite a friend to play, you and your friend can receive Bonus Points (points that convert into Towers) - conditions apply. To invite a friend, do the following:

1.	Click on the Invite a Friend link in the red Members Panel.
2.	Enter your friend's email (you can also send them a small message if you wish). Your friend will be sent an email, inviting them to join. You will also be sent a confirmation email.
3.	You and your friend wll both receive Bonus Points (see bonus points).

You and your friends can recieve free Towers when you invite your friends to join Tower Games. This is done through Bonus Points. This is a 3 step process:

Example: You invite 2 friends to join Tower Games and they both sign up, which gives them both 3 Bonus Points. They both purchase some towers. Both of your friends have their 3 bonus points converted into 3 Towers. When they both purchase some Towers, you recieve 6 free bonus points. When you next purchase, say, 10 Towers, your 6 bonus points will be converted into 6 Towers and placed in your account, along with the 10 Towers you purchased.

All games have a maximum time for players to get their orders in. The time limit is set by the proposer of the game. And the time limit can be 1,2, 4 or 7 days.

So if eveyone has their orders in, but you don't, and the time limit is reached, the system will do your turn for you. Your troops will fire at enemy and put up an okay fight. Don't expect Napoleon to be in charge of your troops. But McClellan won't be either.

Many people on the internet have friends that they would much rather play with than strangers that they meet through, for example, our Games Room. The easiest way is to do this is to make them your Buddy.

When you see someone in the Games Room, you can make them a contact by clicking on "Change Selected", then send them an invite to become your buddy.

Going to the Public Game Room is the quickest way to start a game. If other members are in the Public Game Room, you will see them and will be able to chat with them, and start a game.

Click on Public Game Room and you will automatically go to the Public Game Room.

In order to play our games (other than our free games), you need to purchase some Towers (tokens). If you start a game and do not have enough Towers in your account, you will be given the chance to purchase more.

And every new Tower Games member gets 3 Towers absolutely free.

Our standard price for Towers is US$10 for 10 Towers. If you purchase more than US$10 worth of Towers, you will receive some free Towers (conditions apply).
